Edward F. Travers
President and Founder
Mr. Travers founded Edward F. Travers
& Associates, Inc., in July, 1984, after holding senior positions
at two large international surveying companies.
For more than two decades Mr. Travers
has provided a full range of surveying and loss mitigation services
as well as on-site oil spill response supervision in the Pacific
Northwest, Alaska, Hawaii and Western Canada.
Mr. Travers is a graduate
of Seton Hall University and
an alumnus of St. John's University Graduate School. He
is active in northwest community affairs and speaks frequently
at insurance and transportation industry conferences,
seminars, and as a guest lecturer at the University of
Washington.

Kevin M. Mabin
Vice President, Chief Surveyor
Since joining Edward F.
Travers & Associates, Inc., in 1989, Mr. Mabin has
been instrumental in mitigating cost exposures on P&I Club surveys and oil spill/hazmat cleanup
response.
Mr. Mabin has more than
twenty years of expertise in representing the major
cargo and carrier interests in large scale auto transport
casualties. He has investigated shipboard loss factors
and developed outturn salvage plans for major ocean
transit losses.
Mr. Mabin frequently conducts
investigations relating to heavy weather damage to containerized
and bulk cargo. For intermodal carriers and
insurers, Mr. Mabin also investigates train derailments,
truck cargo losses and temperature fluctuations in refrigerated
cargo.
As a certified IICL Surveyor
Mr. Mabin has assisted numerous steamship companies
in minimizing container cargo losses and controlling
container repair costs.
Mr. Mabin leads our firm's
extensive breakbulk operations including ferrous metals and other specialty commodities, as well as oversized and overweight cargo.

Morry
Edwards Senior Surveyor Mr. Edwards
is a former fishing captain and Alaska General Manager for an
international carrier with breakbulk and reefer vessel operations between
Alaska and ports worldwide. He has worked on special projects with
our firm since 1992 and as a staff surveyor since 2005.
Mr. Edwards surveys hull and machinery damage and conducts voyage and vetting surveys for ships and large yachts. He provides securement
planning and loading supervision for heavy machinery, oil field equipment and other oversized
cargo. He has reported for the marine press on ship and boat construction and vessel operations.
Mr. Edwards is also available to assess
and mitigate damage in dry and refrigerated cargo including
frozen seafood.

David Wenger
Surveyor
Mr. Wenger has completed 30+
years with several major ocean carriers, including P&O
Nedlloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Lykes Line, and K
Line, holding senior positions in operations, sales,
equipment management and M&R.
Mr. Wenger also has experience
in sales and operations supervision at a major stevedoring
firm. Loss prevention services and damage claim surveys
benefit from his expertise in all aspects of the worldwide flow of
containerized cargo.
Mr. Wenger's Coast Guard experience included Alaska fisheries patrols, port security, and explosives loading.
